They have the best tamales around, and at a very reasonable price. If you go there to get some they only take cash.
The tamales are fresh and very delicious. This is my go to place when coming back to Chicago. Plus, you can’t beat the price.
Good Tamales, I ordered 6 chicken and 6 pork and they were good and had all meat and no fat, I have eaten Tamales from other places before and they would add fatty meat and mixed it with regular meat to fill the Tamales.
Very disappointed, I’ve been coming here for a couple of years to get tamales. Recently I ordered 2 dozen pork Chile verde, 1 dozen jalapeño with cheese and 1 dozen pink ones. When my brother went to go pick them up they didn’t have my dozen pink so they only gave me half. When at home eating them the pork was falling apart and were not made right, they also were more masa than pork and very dry they lacked salsa. The jalapeño with cheese were the same way. So my question is are not the same people making them? If you are going to charge more your quality should remain the same and not get bad. I know you don’t care but you lost this customer.

Never been but randomly sent my father in law here as he was looking for a tamale with less masa. He drove 40 minutes from Indiana to try these today and said they were fantastic and will make the drive again next week.
