I was searching for a pupusa place in Chicago and was happy to find Izalco. Definitely a mom & pop kinda place. You know the food is gonna be good when you see they are bringing it out on the home paper plates. I ordered beef empanadas, cheese & been, and steak pupusas. Everything was a 10/10. Full review:
Great place to eat salvadorian food. Place could be rehab to a more modern look but is clean. Food is great an but people that worl there are not always at there 100% so depending on there mood is the service you will get. Wish the environment was better for them so they could offer you better service
