This is my favorite bakery, they're baked goods are beautiful and delicious. The baklava is incredible. The environment is warm and welcoming and the staff friendly and helpful.

Ok. I know there are a few bad reviews here, but I went there today to get kunafa and it was SO GOOD! They made it fresh and the staff were super nice. If you want to taste a real Kunafa, go there!

We were passing through Chicago from Memphis and decided to pick up some knafe and awama they were both terrible and a waste of money they both ended up in the trash I even had to call the person from the back because I stood 10 min waiting for someone to come out and assist me would not recommend to anyone even if you live next door

Went here the other day for a party platter to bring into work and the man behind the counter was very kind, answered all of my questions and was very helpful! The sweets here are the BEST in Chicago... as a self-proclaimed chocoholic I have dreams about this baklava. Worth every penny... I recommend trying the kind that look like little birds nests!

I ordered the Kunafah as well as a plate of assorted baklava. First of all the kunafah was very greasy and tasted really bad. It actually ended up upsetting my stomach. As for the 25.99 assorted baklava plate it tasted like burnt and looks like they sold me a plate that was sitting there for quite a while.

Very nice customer service, delicious knafa. I'm glad to find place in Chicago serve fresh knafa with decent price.

I was at Jaafer Sweets today, and I bought a basbosa plate. I asked if it was fresh, and the guy working there told me yes. He even let me try it, and it was fine, so I decided to buy a plate. Once I got home and began to actually cut into it and eat it, it was the opposite of what it was in the bakery. The basbosa was drenched in syrup and it was obviously a couple days old.
