The pentagram/black mass sign on one wall makes all the other art work and music choices, which could on their own just be seen as eccentric and even enjoyable, much less plausibly benign.

Loved it!!! Cappuccino was great :)
Food and drink are good. Blue Hair Barista has a MAJOR attitude problem every time we come in. Overall service consistently sucks and make you feel like you're the rude one for ordering from their menu.

A quirky gem in Bridgeport – Jackalope Coffee & Tea House truly stands out!
Walking into Jackalope is like stepping into a creative collage — rooms and walls are filled with punk‑horror art, quirky posters (think zombified Thumper from Bambi), and unexpected decor elements like dismembered arms holding coffee cups . It’s a fun and unique vibe you won’t find anywhere else in Chicago.
Their menu is expansive and creative: try the Dirty Horchata, icy mochas, hot cider with brown butter toffee, or their smoothies — fans rave about the orange smoothie . They also offer a lineup of cleverly named sandwiches and wraps — for example, “The Cyclops,” a bacon‑egg‑cheese on bagel, or the “Creature from the Black Bean Lagoon” spinach wrap . The prices are reasonable—similar to or even cheaper than Starbucks—and they offer milk alternatives too .

Everybody there had dyed hair and/or pronouns, and the atmosphere was immaculate. Best coffee ever
Cool little place, nice vibe, friendly staff. Had the chupacabra breakfast sandwich, highly recommend.

Staff a little off, could be more polite. But it kinda goes with the edgy vibe of the place so it’s cool. Sandwich was ok. Wish there were more vegan options. They have tofu but i didn’t see a sandwich on the menu that has it. Coffee was incredible. Liked the atmosphere.

Good in a pinch but I’ve brought friends here before and on two occasions the staff left the coffee out of their lattes and just gave them hot milk 😂

This place is great, very cool inside, the staff are super nice / funny. The environment is also great, it’s huge inside and there are multiple rooms with different types of sitting. Definitely a place to go work. We got there around 10:30, there were places to sit and people were coming and going.
The coffee was good, I got the Jolly Green Giant, it was great, good hummus, fresh vegetables. My child got a donut, he liked it.
My partner got the breakfast sandwich, cyclops, it comes in a bagel but the bagel is less large than normal bagels which he said made it easier to eat and was a nice balance. He also got an Horchata latte. Which he loved and smelled good.
Overall this place hits!

The lady making the coffee is rude !!! I used to love coming here but I guess I’ll go to the other amazing coffee shops in Bridgeport. It’s a coffee shop we’re all tired but handle your attitude and it was not busy at all.

Jackalope is my go-to for a chill coffee run in the Loop. Their lattes are fire — nice and strong, with just the right amount of froth. I grabbed a panini the other day, and honestly, it hit the spot; crispy on the outside and loaded with flavor inside. The vibe is real cozy, with a cool mix of colors that just makes you wanna stay. Prices are pretty reasonable, usually about $10-15 for a drink and a snack. The staff’s always friendly and efficient, which makes the experience even better. If you’re looking for a solid spot to fuel up, this place has you covered.
