Their espresso unfortunately always tastes quite burnt :( the non-dirty Dirty Horchata is good though!

Man, I just really love this place. Their coffee is excellent and extremely affordable. Service is always friendly. There's usually a place to sit. Cool decor. Just overall great vibes for a neighborhood gathering place.
Big fan of the dirty horchata latte.

I stopped by Jackalope with a friend for a coffee before heading out of the city and I'm so glad I was introduced to the place! There is such an awesome, unique vibe, the staff was super friendly and my latte was great! I'm not from Chicago, but will absolutely still make my way back to Jackalope!

Very cool place. Very good coffee, served always hot. No complaints about food. Okay sandwiches, somewhat small. Wouldn't hold it against the place though since eating out is very expensive nowadays.

Got a cortado which had really great medium roast espresso. Some of the best in Chicago. Dorite donuts available. Cool art inside.

I love their dirty horchata lattes - every breakfast sandwich I’ve tried is bussin too
Best coffee and sandwiches!!!
They make the best matcha and chai lattes I’ve tried in the city.
Coffee is strong and you definitely feel it under your eyes! I say this as a night shift healthcare worker.

Jackalope is a little Bridgeport gem that wins you over with its funky, trippy, D.I.Y. punk rock decor. The atmosphere is unconventional and wacky, but that's what makes it great. I appreciate when a local business takes a risk, expresses itself, and doesn't try to fit into another cliché. Beyond the bizarre and eccentric aesthetics, the staff are friendly, the coffee was decent, and the prices are fair. It might not be for everyone, but I think the world could use more passion and personality like this. Skip the bland, cookie-cutter corporate chains and give Jackalope a try.

Jackalope Coffee & Tea House is such a cozy and welcoming spot! I tried their lavender latte and it was perfectly balanced—creamy, aromatic, and full of flavor. The pastries were fresh and delicious, especially the almond croissant which was flaky and buttery. The atmosphere is relaxed and charming, making it a great place to work or catch up with a friend. The staff were friendly and attentive, which made the visit even better.
