Not familiar with many places around here but I found this little spot and I’m obsessed. Food is fantastic. While waiting for food, I was talking to one of the workers and it was just a great atmosphere. You can tell they take pride in what they do and I love that about food places. Love these people and will definitely be back very soon.

I've lived in Logan Square since 2015 and I'm so mad at myself that it's taken me THIS LONG to go eat at Jack's. I can't speak to the previous owners, but Bill and his team are doing a phenomenal job with the food and the service. They make everyone feel welcome and seen. The food is above average, with large portions and served hot and fast. I inhaled my Chicago dog and cheese fries so quickly, that I will need to immediately go get more lol. Do not sleep on this place. It's simply *chef's kiss*

I really like this place! I discovered this place because it was nearby my work and I needed lunch. They were nice and fast. The food tastes really good too.

Not same old jacks hot dogs... My biggest complaint is the quality of the food stop serving the day before hot dogs .. When I got to work .. I open the hotdog and it had a weird white brownish color on it. Work lunch when straight into the garbage.

Ok, so this review is about 42 years in the making... you read correctly. I say 42 because I had my very 1st hot dog here when I was about 7 years old - yes...My family knew the original Jack! I have soooo many memories in this place!!! Like clockwork, every Friday, after school (Funston), it was straight to Jack's for a bag of fries w/ ketchup (at times, a hot dog if I had enough) then right across the street to "5 Gees" (now a bike repair shop) for a lime Slush Puppy & a Chico-Stix! Flash forward to 2019 (right before COVID struck) & my brother and I spontaneously made the trek there for, of all things, the beef fried rice, lol. It was added to the menu when Jack's sister took over several years prior (she, too, was a pretty good cook). I've been back (on very rare occasion, as I no longer live in the city) throughout the years & each time, it takes me right back to my childhood. Here's hoping the new owners have kept with tradition, all the while making this very special place even better. God-willing, see you soon! You'll forever have a spot in my heart.
