I've lived in Logan Square since 2015 and I'm so mad at myself that it's taken me THIS LONG to go eat at Jack's. I can't speak to the previous owners, but Bill and his team are doing a phenomenal job with the food and the service. They make everyone feel welcome and seen. Ok, so this review is about 42 years in the making... you read correctly. I say 42 because I had my very 1st hot dog here when I was about 7 years old - yes...My family knew the original Jack! I have soooo many memories in this place!!! Like clockwork, every Friday, after school (Funston), it was straight to Jack's for a bag of fries w/ ketchup (at times, a hot dog if I had enough) then right across the street to "5 Gees" (now a bike repair shop) for a lime Slush Puppy & a Chico-Stix!...read full review

Not familiar with many places around here but I found this little spot and I’m obsessed. Food is fantastic. While waiting for food, I was talking to one of the workers and it was just a great atmosphere. You can tell they take pride in what they do and I love that about food places. Love these people and will definitely be back very soon.
