The food here was great!! I came ordering the Banana Nutella pancakes, and they did not disappoint. Our server, Brie was very attentive, and seemed to enjoy her job and working here! I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great breakfast or brunch place!! 6 stars if I could 😀

Great breakfast! Our server medí went above and beyond, really great experience. Food was good. But truly what made the experience great was our sever. He was really attentive and nice. And not over bearing. I normally don’t leave a restaurant thinking about the server. But wow! Medí was THE best server I’ve ever had.

I want to start off by saying our waitress was super nice and the service was quick! The interior is quite charming. Their mac n’ cheese was so-so but the chicken tortilla soup was delicious! This joint being cash only is a drag and being sat right in front the door made for a very windy/chilly meal.

Update: just went again this summer for takeout. Still just as delicious as last time. Still cash only. A must-try breakfast place in Chicago, get the South of the Border burrito it will knock your socks off. Still cash only.
They have an outside patio which is great for a summer morning. Their fresh squeezed orange juice is delicious! I had the chorizo hash and it was flavorful.

The service here was abysmal! Throwing my change on the table and throwing menus at me while I am sitting is not acceptable. I know the waiter was capable of being nice considering he was nice to the other tables and guest when they walked in. I will never eat at this place again.

My brother and I went out to get some breakfast on a Sunday morning around 11 AM. Saw the pictures of the food beforehand, thought it looked amazing, and golly it held up to the expectations! My brother got a chicken and egg sandwich that he loved and satisfied him. I got blueberry pancakes, with some toast, and house potatoes on the side. All of it was very delicious, we appreciated that none of it it was too sweet. The staff was nice. The atmosphere simple. With the two main plates, two sides, and two cups of coffee, it totaled up to $50 — which we were happy with, especially with how full we were.This place is CASH ONLY. They do have an ATM.We were very happy with our experience and look forward to returning!
