Do not call them expecting any kind of customer service. You will get a supervisor like Cynthia on the phone who has zero clue about customer service. Jason’s deli on canal street in Chicago could use a good class or two from Chick filet on customer service and exactly what that means.

I love Jason's Deli.

My favorite spot is the salad bar.

I get a variety of healthy food choices that fit my budget and belly.

Jason's is my favorite lunch and dinner spot.

Add a sandwich and soda and my meal is complete.

And who doesn't love to finish off their meal with the "free" ice cream. "Yeah"

If you looking for a clean gentle atmosphere, some privacy and an attentive staff, why not try Jason's?

It will easily become your favorite spot to dine as well.

Food was really good, gluten free here and they have options for us too! Full salad bar and ice cream machine! Hot and cold beverages… I ordered the seafood soup and the chicken pot pie soup (didn’t know it was only soup) it was delicious! And the only bread is a little piece on the top that comes off easily or just order w/o!
It was a great cold day for soup! Sandwiches look great also! The cups of soup were around $7 a piece and they have bowls also.

The Food Quality has gone down tremendously. I was reluctant on making a review but I didn’t like the Manager Amy response. I let her know the food quality isn’t the same also let her know I worked at the Dearborn location for years and I am advocate for Jason’s but the food isn’t the same . I was mad I paid $58 bucks for Dry cornbeef she explained they changed companies !! Papa Joe Needs to Go Back It isn’t worth the price tag and more ! Whatever happen to the 5 rules of Hospitality in this place . Greet them with a smile ! I was by the cashier but Manager Amy did not ! Only thing the was up to satisfaction was Broccoli Cheese soup and gumbo ! Oh They no longer give pickles with the Cornbeef Sandwiches which is a big Change because Like I said as a former employee for 7 years We Gave pickles with all our cornbeefs ! Just wasn’t Fully Satisfied and when you talked to a manager it’s suppose to get better how about offering to make the dry sandwiches over !!! I wanna talk to Papa Joe and let him know how dissatisfied I was with Customer Service on Today ! Florida locations and the Evergreen Park location is way better ! Very disappointed!!!

Customer service and food quality is horrific. I called to make a simple adjustment to my order and was met with resistance and belligerence by both the cashier and Amy the manager. They refused to allow me to pay for 80 cents worth of additional toppings, claiming my credit card was fraudulent even though this same credit card was used to pay for the initial order. I was polite and respectful throughout this entire ordeal but am disappointed. I should have made it clear that the past 3 orders I have placed with them have been made poorly and that is why I wanted to add more cheese to my order. It’s clear they hate their jobs and would rather insult their costumers than provide adequate customer service.

The service at Jason's Deli was absolutely terrible. The staff was rude and seemed completely uninterested in helping customers. I waited forever to even be acknowledged. No one checked in on me, and it felt like I was invisible. I won't be coming back, and I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone. Worst service I've experienced in a long time.

My favorite deli restaurant for decades is now letting me down. Corned beef has gone from outstanding to tasteless and dry. Restaurant is so cold inside that you have to believe they only want takeout orders.

Honestly I ordered the salmon-wich, and it sounded good based on the description.......IT CAME WITH NONE OF IT ( no lettuce, tomato, guac, sauce). LIKE ONLY THE SALMON AND BREAD. I HAD TO USE SOME OF MY FRIENDS GUAC. THIS WAS ACTUALLY BAD.

Bought a corned beef sandwich (visit this place often) and it was slightly dry. Rather than ask for a new I went to salad bar and grabbed some jardinera and a few pickles. Enjoying my lunch and the manager (Karen..) came over and told me I had to pay for a salad bar. I explained that I just had pickles/jardinera and she explained that they would have got me some.

I fully understood their position but .. not a nice way to treat a repeat customer.

Manny's is down the street and absolutely has better food.

The manager or franchise owner, whomever she is, told me that this was not the case and it never happened. In other words, called me a liar!

They close at 10pm, it's 7:54 and the salad bar has been taken down. They only leave it up until business slows and they begin to do pre closing work, which includes breaking down the salad bar. Hmm.

The floors were sticky and the restaurant dirty, so I guess I'm glad we weren't able to eat there, but to raise a concern to a manager and to essentially be called a Liar is not acceptable.

I brought this to the attention of the manager/franchise owner and she told me that was not the case and they dont close or break down the bar early. I know what time I went, I know what I saw, and she told me that wasn't the case.

She obviously lives in her own isolated world and chooses to wear blinders to see ONLY what she wants to see. Calling customers liars is not a good way to conduct business. A simple I'm sorry or thanks for bringing that to my attention would have been perfect. I didn't want it ask for anything to be discounted or free nor is that what I wanted. I want the issue corrected. At this point, I don't care what they do, I won't be returning.

Parking: It's is part of a strip mall, plenty of parking.
