Popped into Eppel’s for a quick breakfast before work and honestly this place hits. Total no-frills, classic diner vibes. The server kept the coffee coming before I even had to ask, which is an instant win. I got the corned beef hash with sunny-side eggs and extra crispy hash browns, absolutely hit the spot. My friend got the pancake stack and they were so fluffy. Fast, super friendly, zero pretense.
Breakfast is GREAT
1st time here. Food awesome and Staff very friendly and attentive. Very fresh and down home foods. Will be back when I'm in Chicago again...

Eppel's Restaurant is a classic gem on Roosevelt with great comfort food. The servers are amazing and funny, providing exceptional service. The pancakes are fluffy, sausage cooked perfectly, and the crispy salmon cake is scrumptious. This family owned diner knows how to take care of their customers with amazing food and a very welcoming atmosphere. Servers are attentive, super nice, and deliver friendly and personal service. It is a great place where everyone leaves full and satisfied, especially after trying "The Works" Skillet.
