The Bloody Mary's were super watered down and the "poutine fries" were gross. There was no flavor to the fries, not even any seasoning. It seemed like prison food. I expected a lot more from a place in downtown Naperville. If you want a quick drink and a snack avoid this place. Service was perfectly fine and the staff was friendly but the menu is not impressive whatsoever. Potters will always be a go to.

terrible place if you are black do not come here nor spend your money very very racist place me and my wife she is black as well we came there last night 11:30pm to be exact and the bartender was very rude basically ready to be off work so he hurried and made our lemon drops. i then seen a eyelash hair in my lemon drop i dont wear lashes or anything so i knew it wasnt from me i then told the bartender and he was wiping the counter off and as i said that he threw the towel down and said well i dont see a eyelash so then i told him well i dont want to pay cuz i clearly have hair in my drink! he said well "you can just go and we did !!

Empire is your basic bar. Burgers, beers and bourbons. The covered roof deck is always a favorite spot because it's right on the Naper Walk. There's absolutely nothing that stands out about this place. The servers are fine. The burgers are fine. The music is fine. It's a completely forgettable bar... with good views.

Honestly expected more for a place in downtown Naperville. I've had lots of burgers in my life, and this one was nothing special. I wouldn't say it was bad, but it didn't make me go WOW. The fries were good though. I do have to say I enjoy coming here occasionally for drinks, particularly on their rooftop in the summertime, although drinks are definitely pricier than other bars in the area.

Been here multiple times since it's opened. Amazing location in downtown Naperville that overlooks the river. Parking is relatively easy with all the parking garages near by. Their food is great and consistent throughout the years. Price is slightly on the higher end as you'd expect from a restaurant in downtown Naperville. Overall a great dine. My go to spot for all occasions!

Sat outside on the upper deck and just loved the food and drinks here along with the views. Theres a river too that the deck overlooks so it's a cute place with burgers and drinks. At night this areas becomes more lively as there are multiple bars with music and dancing in the area so it'a fun for a night out in the suburbs. Definitely recommend trying out empires burgers

We were here tonight for the first time as my son attends North Central College (and we live 7 miles away). This place will DEFINITELY be on our short list of places to go in the future! The place was clean, service was great, and the food was much better than a lot of your pricier competitors. I can’t wait to come back and try the Abe Froman.
We have been here a few times. We have no had really good service and the food has been decent. We have enjoyed the burgers. What we really love is the extensive beer, wine, and whiskey list. If you want to try local, craft beers, Empire has several on tap.

Even on a chilly day this place was packed! It's definitely a place to be at with a group of friends. They have an upstairs and downstairs area. I got the empire burger which I was a bit skeptical about because it had cream cheese on it but to my surprise it was amazing! The only problem I had here was the GF bun, which I know usually falls apart but it got soggy and wasn't able to hold onto the burger, kind of ate it like a salad after! I would return to try some of their drinks though, I was unable to this time!

Food was 6/10, their caliente burger was one of the better ones I have tried- had lots of sauce. Was a little busier due to the holidays. Ambiance is nice, usually why I come here in the first place. Nice place to grab a drink
