Empire is your basic bar. Burgers, beers and bourbons. The covered roof deck is always a favorite spot because it's right on the Naper Walk. There's absolutely nothing that stands out about this place. The servers are fine. The burgers are fine. The music is fine. It's a completely forgettable bar... with good views.
Honestly expected more for a place in downtown Naperville. I've had lots of burgers in my life, and this one was nothing special. I wouldn't say it was bad, but it didn't make me go WOW. The fries were good though. I do have to say I enjoy coming here occasionally for drinks, particularly on their rooftop in the summertime, although drinks are definitely pricier than other bars in the area.

We were here tonight for the first time as my son attends North Central College (and we live 7 miles away). This place will DEFINITELY be on our short list of places to go in the future! The place was clean, service was great, and the food was much better than a lot of your pricier competitors. I can’t wait to come back and try the Abe Froman.
