Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams

Scoop shops are great for traditionally pint-only brands so you can try beforehand so you know what to buy at the grocery store. It's also great to try unique flavors that aren't sold in pints. Unfortunately none of the scoop flavors were unique (all sold nationwide in pints). It's a Midwestern 10 but for a discerning New Yorker, a 5. Hagen Daaz is far tastier despite being less inventive. Sometimes the classics win. The only showstopper is brown butter almond brittle but it's super rich and I've had it before. And I love the concept of small scoop to try more.... IF you charge prices according to the smaller scoops! For the size of these 2 half-scoops, $4.50-$5 is far more reasonable than 7.29 before tax ($8.03 WITH) which is coincidentally, MORE than a pint of Hagen Daaz!

So good but not a lot of space, always a line and pretty expensive if you’re paying for a couple people. But so good 😭

I recently tried the wild berry lavender ice cream at Jeni's, and it was absolutely delightful! The combination of the fresh, juicy berries with the subtle floral notes of lavender creates a unique and refreshing flavor. The texture is creamy and smooth, making every bite a luxurious experience. It's a perfect treat for a hot day or whenever you're in the mood for something special. Highly recommend giving it a try!

The ice cream is delicious. However the some of the staff could work on being more courteous. Today my husband tried talking to the server about a flavor and she told him to wait. He waited patiently as she chatted with another server. My husband continued to wait patiently and she went to the back and never got back to him. The other server didn't acknowledge him either. Eventually a male server helped him.

My friend was craving some Jeni’s and I will say it hit the spot. The person that was serving us really gave suggestions and knew all the different flavors. I will say an item that is over looked is the drinks. I got the root beer and will say it was one of the best ones I have had in a while!
