Sublime - the food, service, and ambiance were all excellent. Hard to believe this place doesn't have a star - I can think of at least two 1-star restaurants in Chicago that charge substantially more for an experience that's not measurably better. This was certainly the best value for money tasting menu I've ever had, and in the running with Smyth and Ever for best tasting meals I've ever had.
Nice atmosphere for a quiet date. The set courses were each adventurous and delicious. We struggled to choose a favorite because each course was exceptional. The cocktail selection was also creative and fun. Our server, Kelly, was super attentive but gave us appropriate space. Our first time, but already planning a return!
Been here once before and we loved every dish. Came a 2nd time with friends and loved them even more. 10 both times and our favorite Chicago restaurant after 10 years in city. Our friends agreed. I recently had surgery too and they set up a booth for me to prop up my knee. Absolutely great service no doubt.
