I really enjoyed my time at Jeong! The vibe is relaxed and welcoming, perfect for a chill night out. The menu has lots of tasty Korean dishes, and everything I tried was delicious—definitely authentic and full of flavor. The staff was super friendly and kept things running smoothly. Overall, it’s a great spot to enjoy good food without any fuss. I’ll be coming back for sure!
Jeong is a long time favorite. Jen and the rest of the the front of the house staff are always so warmly welcoming - never intrusive and yet very attentive. The food is excellent. I love that Chef Dave has kept some long time favorites on the menu (hello Mr Scallop, my long time favorite!) and will experiment with other flavors/memories of his childhood. I thought the kkangpongi octopus was amazing - the coating was so crisp, the octopus inside very tender, and the spicy slightly...
I've been dying to try Jeong, and the experience did not disappoint! I have to agree with a thread I saw on Reddit: I'm not sure why this restaurant isn't Michelin starred yet.
The service was warm and impeccable, the ambiance is cozy yet chic, and the food is incredible. My favorites were the scallop (husband said it's the best scallop he's had in his life) and the octopus (flavors and texture unlike any of the octopus I've had)....
