Food is good. Service less so. The Crispy Jim Shoe is a work of art - just be prepared to dodge your cardiologist's phone calls for a while. The onion rings hold up surprisingly well to delivery. I've only ordered from here off Door Dash, where there's no good way to specify what can pop you want, so that's always a surprise. Also, just order whatever dessert you don't want, because the one you order is the only one you are guaranteed to NOT get. They just grab whatever and throw it in the bag.

Respectfully I hate this place. Let's start off with the idea that it has a total gas station set up. Beginning with the dengy hole in the wall esque entrance. Just completely looks like staff infection is on a rampage in this place. Dirty walls, dirty floors, dirty employees (not to mention rude and disrespectful) no matter where you look, it's going to look like it hasn't been cleaned in about 20 years. Back to the gas station design/setup, Like, cigars are LITERALLY taped to the DIRTY (bullet proof I'd assume) glass to make your orders from. So upon arrival, you have to get passed the language barrier and it's almost total chaos as far as line is concerned. People just walk in and order with no regards to a line. Sidenote: I was only here because my partner who is a Chicago native suggested it. And this was my experience as a tourist, trying to get some Chicago food. So, unsure of anything I went with fried chicken. Turns out it was good (despite how filthy the kitchen was and me Knowing NO HEALTH codes were followed) and shockingly I didn't die. Would I ever risk my life again? No. But if you wanted an honest review, here's one.Ending synopsis: definitely a cess pool of dirt, grime and mold. Eat at your own risk.

I love coming here. They got a variety of food, and everything I ate tasted great. It's convenient, and they open late nights. The prices ain't that bad either.

Best late nite spot. Open til 5am. Not really in one of the safest spots but food is definitely always on point.

I always call ahead for the 3pc tender with buffalo sauce. Sometimes they won't start your order until you get there but that's understandable with so many people that call in and don't show up. Even then, they are still usually pretty quick especially if you're a regular. They are friendly and are usually open until about 4 or 5am. Some people may dislike the environment, but it's hood food and good food. You knew what to expect when you came down 79th street.?
