It’s a cool experience unfortunately it’s very cold inside during the winter. Cold enough our food didn’t even stay warm.

Being how it was cold outside, 1st thing I looked for, was the restroom. It was like a make trying to get to it. It was small and disgusting! It was only 3pm and there was nothing to dry my hands with! Servers all had a stinkface, as if none if them like their jobs. No one that worked there seemed friendly. I will definitely NOT be back.

They took me and 4 others upstairs and they had music, tv, and some games.

Very disappointed. Staff was rude and rushed us to order. $50 for a regular chocolate shake, oreo shake, and one specialty shake. They added an $18 service fee (not 18%) it was on our receipt $18, it did not say gratuity, it said service fee. Shake was not frozen. Was like frothed milk. Made our order wrong then was upset to fix it. We were very excited to come here and skipped dessert at the restaurant we had dinner at for this. Wouldn't recommend.

Honestly, the food was pretty disappointing 😔 and overpriced 💸. And be prepared for a hefty bill 💰 – they add 21% on top (18% is mandatory gratuity, plus a 3% credit card fee). It seems like most of that extra cost goes towards social media marketing 📱 rather than improving the food quality or hygiene 🤔.

Drove over an hour just to try the hot chocolate flight only to tell us they stopped serving it for today. Truly disappointing. That information should be advertised so we could have planned to come earlier instead of wasting our time for nothing.

Very disappointing experience.

We were charged an automatic 18% service fee without being clearly informed beforehand. The only notice on the menu says a fee “may be included”, which is vague and does not properly disclose a mandatory 18% charge.

When we questioned it, the first manager Saul, said he was not authorized to remove it. The second manager (she) became defensive and even said they were not obligated to help us or to write on the receipt that we were disputing the charge.

To make things worse, the food runner practically threw the tray of food on our table, which made us feel very uncomfortable.

Also, for anyone looking for something natural: the milkshakes are not made with real fruit, the flavors are artificial, which is not mentioned clearly on the menu.

This is not about refusing to pay, it’s about being charged a mandatory fee that was not clearly disclosed and being treated poorly when we calmly asked for clarification.

My girlfriend and I came here and ordered a Basic Shake ($10.95) and a Windy City Burger ($16.95).
When we went to pay, they charged us an 18% service fee, which, according to the manager, was for the waitstaff.
However, legally, this charge must be disclosed by the host or on the menu, as it's an extra charge in addition to the voluntary tip.
We ended up paying $36.20 for a $31 meal after taxes.
Not only is this a rip-off, but the service wasn't good either, as the food runner practically threw the plate on the table without even saying thank you.
The only thing mentioned on the menu is that the service MAY be included in the total, without specifying percentages or amounts.
Manager Saul simply told us that we could file a complaint with the owners of Jojo's Bar, as he couldn't resolve the issue.
For anyone planning to go there, I recommend looking for a second or third option, because in addition to the terrible service, the shake tastes artificial, and you can find a much better burger for half the price elsewhere, without being charged an extra percentage for service.
