I normally try to give restaurants grace, but our experience at Jordyn’s in Chicago was completely unacceptable. Our party of 8 waited over two hours and never received our food. The entire time we were repeatedly told that our food was “coming soon,” yet nothing ever arrived to the table.

I’ve been here twice before and had great experiences, which is why this visit was so disappointing.
We were seated at 9:58 PM and waited 32 minutes before our server even came to our table. She finally took our order at 10:28 PM, and then we waited another 30 minutes for just one drink. What made it more frustrating was that she was also working as the bartender, and during that time I watched her make plenty of other drinks while repeatedly ignoring ours.
