The cheesecakes are very good, but the older black woman who works the register is extremely rude. If you’re a single man or woman between 26-38, you’re guaranteed to be condescended to and insulted. Mind you , I went there for YEARS, but the last time I was there with my husband, she told him to “stop talking and be quiet” when went to buy a cake for his birthday (and he was kindly thanking ME for taking him! He wasn’t even talking to her!) and while it wasn’t the first time, it most certainly was the last. She totally ruined the experience, I will never go back and I have made sure my friends, family and coworkers spend their hard earned money elsewhere.

I love this place... a lot. They offer such decadent sweets and rich cakes, all of their menu items and phenomenal. Me and my family's favorite is the Tiramisu cake. I also love how they have crumble cakes on the counter. The prices are affordable too! I don't have a sweet tooth, and their desserts make me drool!

Such a cute little cake shop ? we bought a plain 7” cheesecake ($19) and it was amazing. The whole pies come frozen and requires 4-5 hours of defrosting though so buy them ahead of time. We will definitely try some more flavors later.

Custom cake I ordered was beautiful, scrumptious, and affordable. Exactly what I expected except it's much bigger, which is a good thing (my cake stand is 16", which made the cake look smaller in the photo). Guests loved it! Frosting is not too sweet or overwhelming. Perfect! Thank you, Natalie!Staff is very friendly, accommodating and polite.Highly recommend!On a side note, I love their carrot cake as well. Definitely a must-try. It's to die for!

Lady at the front counter is so nice and talking with her was a blast! My parents and I think this is the best cheesecake in IL, wouldn't go anywhere else! So much variety!
Most importantly was the taste and moistness of the cake. Not overly sweet, just right!

My friend received a red velvet cake from JR Dessert Bakery the other day and let’s just say that I will be getting all my cakes from this bakery from now on! Not only was the presentation spot on, it’s SO DELICIOUS. I look forward to visiting the bakery in person and trying out all of the sweets ?
