Very welcoming staff, dine in or carry out, tried the wings and fries as well as the fried catfish dinner. Enjoyed both meals.
Very happy to have another local eatery, the fried chicken dinner was great however upon second visit the chicken portion was woefully small, the whole dinner was barely enough for one.
I haven’t been back since though it still is enticing because I did enjoy the food and Tobey is friendly.
My first time there today. Nice cozy spot and the food was great. Will be back again!!!!

Located in Milwaukee, Queen K’s serves delicious, affordable soul food with a home cooked meal feel. The food is amazing, and the service is above any industry standard. Chef T is a one-man show, but his service is warm and he treats everyone like family, making the atmosphere cozy and home like. Everything is seasoned well, and customers feel fulfilled after finishing a meal. The catfish is some of the best ever had, fried to perfection. The 5 wing plate is well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Other popular dishes include smothered chicken, rice, mac n cheese, broccoli, and greens with chunks of turkey. The candied yams are the best in a long time. For dessert, the sweet potato cheesecake is absolutely amazing, and the strawberry cheesecake egg rolls had no business being as good as they were. Customers should be patient as Chef T is a one-man show. The only downfall is no restroom available. Customers come from Milwaukee and beyond and are never disappointed.
