I always get the goulash - it’s full of flavors. Their coffee was also delicious.
So good, will definitely be going to this place again while I’m in Chicago.I was out for a walk and this place was super inviting for solo diners. Had the quiche and salad and it was fantastic.
Terrible experience. Lazy and rude waitress (Kelly J). Waited a long time just to order, then for the food. I ask for a side salad and they put it inside the sandwich. Coffee was cold. Do not come to this place or you will regret it.
What was once a favorite of mine has fallen to a poorly run, frustrating, terrible cafe experience. The wait for everything is too long. Dining in, we received food so long before our coffee that we had finished before we had drinks. I ordered a cappuccino to go, it came in a large cup which was filled halfway with foam. We left our credit card or, more likely, it wasn't returned to us. We took a 30 minute train ride the next day to retrieve it and found at 10am on a Saturday that the cafe hadn't opened yet even though their published hours say 7am. Really, they have gone from one of the best to one of the very worst.
This place is such a little gem that has stood the test of time. It was cute 10 years ago and still the same. I would suggest checking it out if you're in the area for a quick bit or an afternoon of just enjoying some coffee. Great vibe here and welcoming staff.
One of my go-to brunch spots! The avocado baked eggs were delicious and the service can’t be beat. They even gifted us with tulips for Mother’s Day brunch!
The food is mind blowingly good!
Croissants and breakfast bites are great. House coffee is great too. Staff is friendly but a little inattentive when food orders delay much more than expected.
Their cold pressure mocha with almond milk and house vanilla syrup was the best mocha I've ever had. Had to come back twice for it. If you're in the neighborhood, this place is a MUST for coffee and breakfast.

Pricey place. Service was good, pastries and coffee were average.
Amazing coffee and service loved it .. will b my regular breakfast place .
The best coffee around and a wonderful ambiance.
The coffee and treats here are to die for!
Please, please, please get your service issues together as the inconsistencies in whom gets good service has caused you the loss of a long time customer. This is a marvelous coffee shop that reminds me of my travels to Europe where one can enjoy a lazy afternoon having a wonderful French press and a good sandwich but recent experiences have left much to be desired.
