Located in the French market, this Korean restaurant makes simple meals. I highly suggest getting their bibimbap bowl and sweet potato fries with honey. These are both really good dishes and are pretty quick to come out.Service is very OK. If you order a water on a separate transaction, they will not give that to you ahead of time until your full meal is ready.Atmosphere is nice as it is in a large food court.

Was thrilled to try out the croffle (waffle croissant) and was disappointed when it came out overly crispy (to the point of it almost being burned). I only ate the inside since the outside tasted a bit burned. Was really hoping it would meet the high expectations I had for it. May need to come back and ask them to only cook it until it's nice and soft. That said, the other food looks quite good and I hope I can come back and try the other dishes.

Great find in the French Market if you're nearby Accenture Towers or navigating through the train station. Plenty of seating throughout the market, speedy service, and diverse music playlist! K Kitchen has a very lean operation (only two team members working during lunch rush), but they were able to manage overall. They have a neat point of sale system that simplified the ordering and payment process (may not be an attraction for all though). Food quality and portion sizes were great for lunch. As many suggested on Yelp, I tried the spicy pork bowl (~$15). It wasn't actually spicy, so I think that you should make sure to snag some sauce on the side if that's what you're looking for!

I take it the Chicken Pan Fried Udon is gone from the menu, which is such a shame as it was literally the best food in the city. It's a shame I can't get it again. Maybe post the recipe so I can make it at home myself? lol please?

Very authentic Korean cuisine place in Chicago. To be honest, around downtown area in Chicago, this is the ONLY authentic Asian place (esp. Korean food) that you can get. To second every comment in these positive reviews, the quality of food was extraordinary, and the owner of the place is so nice and welcoming. (She even offered me to have a free soup, because I was walking all the way in the snow storm weather and was frozen from the weather. What an incredibly nice generosity in this modern world!)✅️ Seating: You can seat in the nice area with the food, since there is a plenty of nice seats area next to the place. Also, I saw many locals order take out as well for lunch.✅️ How to find this place: To get to this restaurant, enter "French Market" inside of the station(?), then go straight to the aisle the turn right. You will see "K Kitchen" sign there.According to many Korean reviews, this is a truly “delicious” Korean restaurant in Chicago. It's hard to find good Korean food in the downtown Chicago area, and this restaurant is the only one that caters to the Korean palate. There are many places to sit right in front, and the atmosphere is friendly and local, like a night market, which makes it even better. It seems like a restaurant that is leading the globalization of Korean food, and we hope it prospers even more!

Not sure if I agree with some of the reviews. I just ate here today and had the bulgogi platter and the soon dubu (tofu soup). Friend had Saigon Sisters pho which frankly was much more expensive than here. Frankly I thought it was priced well for what it is. They're not cooking in a full flushed out kitchen - it's like an urban space / food hall, so food yes isn't like a full restaurant. But it's cheap / fast and frankly pretty good IMO.

I've been to K-Kitchen several times now and every experience there has been great! Although it's very fast service they always manage to be very friendly and helpful with any questions. The food is incredibly delicious, I love the tofu soup and the fried chicken.

First off, i dont leave reviews ever, but I felt i should leave one for K-Kitchen. The staff is AMAZING. Hanna & Chuy always have a smile on their faces, and you can tell they love what they do. They've gone above and beyond to make sure the food is on par and the customer is happy. I always get the Korean Popcorn Chicken w/ honey butter and it's never disappointed me. It's an easy go-to for sure. I also normally get a side of gochujang sauce as well & they always make sure they include it even when I forget to ask for it. I can't stress enough how awesome they are at K-kitchen and how much I suggest you go try the food there if you haven't before! 10/10 def recommended.

Self service via online or tablet, but at least they don't ask for a tip. Ambiance is not really applicable since it's in the French market food court. I ordered the Bulgogi beef bimi bowl. The ingredients tasted fresh, and it was filling, however, the lack of meat and price made it no worth coming back to try again.

This is inside French Market with other vendors. The $13.65 bulgogi w veges and rice was very good. The beef was flavored well w the traditional Korean ingredients and there was a lot of thin sliced meat w that was high quality and not much fat. The sweet potato fries Korean style were really good and reminded me of childhood when they used to make these more and you can sometimes get the honey glazed sweet potato chips w black sesame seeds at Hmart but it's not easy to find. So this was a great experience down memory lane. But the price was a bit steep at $7.45 plus tax so as much as I appreciate small businesses and want to support them, I don't feel good about buying the fries again bc it's such a big chunk of change for a side dish as much as I love it. Nevertheless they deserve all the 5 stars for originality and high quality clean food and generous good quality beef for the bulgogi dish and fries. Try their dishes! You won't be disappointed.

If you love Korean food and have no other options, this place is decent. Service is great and there's plenty of seating. However, the bulgogi platter was just okay in terms of flavor. The ratio of lettuce wraps and sauce to meat and rice was WAY off.

I'm so glad I didn't check the rating before eating at K-Kitchen! The Korean BBQ was so good with the lettuce wraps and was the perfect meal before getting on the train!I wish we lived closer because I'd be back often!
