My story of getting hooked to this place is kinda funny. I take metra to downtown for work and on the way back home, there was a random girl eating food on the metra, I had to think many times before I could approach her asking where she got her food from because it looked so appealing and smelled so gooood, guess what? Them Mukbang videos on TikTok made me do it, I ended up asking her where she got her food from and she told me about this hidden place located in Chicago’s French...

Oh so satisfying dish from K-Kitchen at Chicago’s awesome French Market (awesomely open on Saturday). I ordered the Hot Tofu Soup (with pork) and it is warming, savory and just the right level of savory spice 😍

I don't usually leave reviews, but I was SO impressed with K-Kitchen. I had some time to kill before my train so I picked up some veggie fried rice with fried chicken. It took a while for them to make it, but it was so, so good--and it was fresh and hot!

Absolutely recommend, but factor in the time it'll take to make your food. It'll be worth it, but it's not something you grab 5 minutes before you get on the train or bus.
