I experienced a relaxed evening here for dinner this past Friday, and fell in love! Don't let the overall rating of this place fool you -- this spot is delicious, unique, and an ambience with the comforts of your own home. There is just something cozy about it! If you've visited and also fell in love, please share the love on here. This place is so, so great.
The sushi is ok. I think their strong suit seems to be their korean cuisine rather than sushi. It is a little misleading when you go there for sushi and it's mostly korean themed. The actual sushi wasn't bad but it wasn't amazing. Will I come back? Probably if I'm in the area, but I would go to Toro for sushi over this place.
Loved Kabuki! They had a lot of great options for vegetarians and meat eaters. Their menu has a variety of Japanese and South Korean dishes. The prices were fairly affordable for Chicago.
