I've been to Kai Sushi at least 6-8 times in the past two years. It's a great neighborhood place. It's easy and fairly quick. I've eaten lunch here with little kids, dinner outside in the summer (a little loud) and inside the restaurant (pretty charmless).
The food is the thing here. If you know that going in, you will not be disappointed. The outdoor area in the summer is simply some chairs and tables. Maybe they are wiped down, maybe they aren't. Maybe you will take care of that yourself, maybe you'll decide it doesn't matter.
At the end of your delicious meal you won't really be too worried about the lack of water or stretched thin wait staff or any of the rest of it. You'll leave very happy for this meal. And if you walked here (since street parking can be a pain depending on the time) you'll feel even better.

Had some decent sushi here but last time I went near closing and the sushi had mushier turned avocado on top and tossed it. When I called the restaurant the woman had me send a picture which I did. She then told me it wasn’t their avocado? Better check the food before you leave. Won’t be returning.

Ordered takeout. Soup and some spicy tuna rolls. The soup was a beef soup and tasted only like broccoli, which wasn't even mentioned as being in the soup 🥦 the spicy tuna rolls had no flavor and were all heat. Broccoli soup and heat bombs with no flavor... Not good. Would not recommend it. Will not return.

We came to Kai Sushi as a party of 7 and had an amazing experience. The sushi rolls and sashimi were super fresh and beautifully presented. What really stood out was the service, the staff was incredibly kind and attentive, and they even surprised us with a complimentary sushi roll and nigiri, which was such a nice touch. Everything tasted great, and we never felt rushed even with a bigger group. Definitely recommend for sushi lovers looking for quality food and warm hospitality!

Kai sushi was absolutely amazing. The fish was very fresh, the flavors were great, they even gave us an extra miso soup and a small orange for dessert for free! We tried a roll called orange turtle I think, highly recommend it. Will be back again

Fishes were pretty fresh, I like the price range & quality.
Placed a delivery order and they sent me someone else's order. When the delivery service reached out to them, they denied the mix up, refusing to replace or refund the order. When they were confronted with pictures of the order that i received, they claimed that they accidentally threw in the 'second' order. Then they stated harassing me personally by repeatedly calling me when i was unable or unwilling to answer. However, the other times i ate here, the food was really good, and the prices were reasonable. Not great, but reasonable.
