After receiving glowing recommendations for the Erie Cafe, I decided to try it out during my move to the neighborhood. It did not disappoint. The “small” NY Strip was grilled perfectly and tasted great! Received a comp dessert cut to upcoming birthday. Service was very attentive and kept the water and Sprecher's root beer glasses full all night. Definitely will return often!
Hosted a Birthday party here for a large group and we were given a private space which was absolutely amazing! Service was incredible, food delicious, and the ambiance was perfect! We were able to hear each other and had a blast!!! This place is an absolute neighborhood GEM! Thank you Erie Cafe ❤️

Impeccable service, perfect old Chicago vibe, delicious large portions. I like my ribeye uniformly med rare with a salty sear and butter basted finish. Here I order the bone-in ribeye rare and asked them not to be shy with the salt and butter. Comes with a nice sear, decadent and tasty. You will want to gnaw on the bone.Kid-friendliness: High chairs
