Very authentic food and great service. My friend and I are both from Singapore and missed our home, so we were very happy to be able to eat food from home and reminisce. I especially liked the cendol and satay!
Excellent & authentic cuisine; generous portions. We ordered beef rendang, sambal shrimp with okra, murtabak, laksa noodles one night - all were excellent. The beef rendang was simply the best l’ve ever had- authentic spicing blend & very tender. We liked it so much we came back three days later and ordered cumin beef, sambal shrimp with okra again, roti with potatoes and chicken, pork belly. Again, everything was wonderful. I really really liked the pork belly which came with a sweet soy sauce, iconic to the area. While we waited for our takeout order, we had a dessert of shaved ice Cendol. I highly recommend trying this dessert; it’s a hard to describe blend of red beans, panda flavored rice & tapioca jellies in coconut milk - like party in a bowl. Very refreshing. This is definitely my favorite Asian restaurant; the flavors are distinctive.
