Went to Kashmir for a drink. Ordered the yuzu margarita and later tried one of the mezcal shots. Margarita was bright and not overly sweet, shot had a nice smoky edge. Space is flashy with the green bar and lighting, music was upbeat but you could still talk early on. Bartenders were quick even as it filled up. Fun energy without feeling chaotic.
One of the workers/ maybe bartender was named Brian. He was my absolute angel and lifesaver. Their only stall in the mens room was out of order, and i'm a transgender man. I explained my situation to him and he escorted me out of the building across the street and helped me find a restroom to use and then escorted me back to Kashmir. An upstanding gentleman, so kind and thoughtful and a real ally. Brian if you read this, please know how wonderful you are.
My boyfriend and I had a decent time here.
What we liked:
- The DJs were great and we had a fantastic time dancing. They knew how to get the party going
- My boyfriend and I were served at the bar by the gorgeous woman and treated us so nice. I feel like usually in a club my boyfriend and I as a gay couple sometimes feel othered because that environment isn’t made for us, but she truly made us feel so welcome. So special shoutout to her.
