Man. That drinking chocolate. First half was so swell. Second half overtook me. I’m not a big sweet tooth, and I needed all of them to finish. Got a few truffles too. Had to save them cuz I went into a sugar coma for a few days. They were definitely good, not great. Would definitely go again to hone in on what I like. Appreciate the vegan options.

Gave it a try and not for me. But the 2 people I was with enjoyed their drinks and salad. Service was nice and drinks are made to order, worth the wait.

Had a wonderful experience here trying the hot chocolate flight. For $13 you get 3 generous portions of hot chocolate. The flavors were a bit too intense for me but was a fun experience. The service was awesome and the store is very quaint. Thanks for having us!

We are delighted to come upon this adorably sweet sitting room. Whether sipping housemade drinking chocolate with specialty marshmallows or tea, lunch fare with vegan raspberry or manhattan whiskey truffles is always a meaningful visit. I wish there wad a location nearer to me! I will return soon.

I went here because I seen this place on TikTok and I wanted to try the hot chocolate flight. This was the worst hot chocolate that I have ever tasted. It was too much chocolate to bear. Honestly you can save your money and make hot chocolate at home. It taste 100% better. The customer service was amazing despite it all. I was compensated with a remaking of the hot chocolate, but it was still a terrible taste for me, and I’m a hot chocolate lover.

Got two Chicago's mill hot chocolate and I had them to go - almost $20 for 2 drinks and they were vile!!

We should have tasted them before we left. The drinks tasted like someone had poured salt on them! (P.s. note we didn't even order the salted caramel..just regular milk chocolate).
They were inedible and both tossed away after two unbearable sips. Total scam do not buy hot chocolate there. I should have read the other negative review about the extreme salt content too.
The only good thing about one of the drinks was the marshmallow topping (the other one was supposed to be whipped creak topping but as you can see there wasn't much to look at).

I got the salted caramel hot chocolate with marshmallows, the Java truffle, and the egg nog truffle. They all sucked. My hot chocolate was too salty. It was so salty I thought maybe whoever made it accidentally put too much salt in it. I couldn’t finish it and honestly I didn’t want to. Not only did my drink suck the truffles did too and it was so overpriced. My husband and daughter got the Mexican hot chocolate and they didn’t like it either. Go to Kasama for some legit delicious hot chocolate instead. Do not waste your money going to Katherine Anne Confections.

Honestly this place was pretty decent. The hot chocolate is very strong but tons of different flavors. I had a 8oz hot peppermint chocolate. I had a few sips and took the rest home to add milk to it which as good still. My drink came with a marshmallow of my choice. I was disappointed because I couldn’t purchase a flight of hot chocolate since the place was full and no place to sit. If you buy a flight you have to purchase the marshmallow separately. They are a very small business. I paid $16 for 2 drinks. If you want to do the flight it’s 3 hot chocolate for $12. Just call before you go to see if it’s busy. Also bought a s’mores chocolate for $6 it was absolutely worth it. I would go again. Hoping for a better experience so I can do a hot chocolate flight. I am a hot chocolate fanatic. The other drink was a Mexican hot chocolate and that was better than the peppermint one. Parking is anywhere you find it. Also it’s only 9 minute walk away from the blue line stop on California. It’s a very safe spot by the police and fire station.

A fantastic stop from a bike ride or a walk for a decadent treat! There are a lot of hot chocolate and marshmallows options I want to try in the wintertime, the orange rose lemonade was super refreshing on a hot day.

Great chocolates, extremely friendly and accommodating staff (and owner!), in a very cute setting.

On my way to dinner, I randomly stumbled upon this shop and decided to step inside out of curiosity—felt like I walked straight into a fairytale! The owner was super warm and welcoming, explaining everything with such passion. As someone who knows nothing about chocolate and candy, it was a real eye-opener! I ended up buying two bags of marshmallows and three boxes of chocolates. Honestly, I wanted to buy even more, but I just couldn’t carry that much on an international flight. Really hope I get the chance to visit again soon!

My wife and I ordered truffles from Katherine Anne for our wedding favors and we couldn’t be happier. (We were secretly happy when guests forgot their favor so we could have it!) We chose champagne raspberry (and a few mint for folks who needed an alcohol-free recipe!) Those choices were helpful because they were also vegan and gluten free. We enjoyed sampling these at the shops before placing our order. Katherine herself was so responsive to our order and flexible with timing for pickup. Highly recommend!
