It's just the best place in Chicago, no questions asked. An absolutely delightful business, I take everyone there when they come to visit. The drinking chocolate flights are fantastic, they have seasonal flavors like peppermint or peanut butter. My personal favorites are hazelnut, salted caramel, and just regular milk. So good! We got the turkey and the ham sandwich, both of which were great (we especially liked the ham). We also got a super dark drinking chocolate which was AMAZING and a latte which was very good—I appreciated that neither was too sweet. They were rich and obviously high quality. Will definitely be back!
Quiet spot to get a hot chocolate or even a couple of other sweet treats. The hot chocolate is thick and even a small felt heavy after getting through it halfway for me personally. They usually serve the hot chocolate with a marshmallow, but since I don’t eat gelatin they were able to substitute it for whipped cream instead which was much appreciated.
