This is your classic narrow, cozy Chicago bar in the best possible way. This place has all the necessities of a great winter Chicago bar—small, concise menu, great draft beers, televisions, and wooden booths that just engulf you.I always default to wings. I love spots that have one flavor—buffalo. Nothing to mess with. Good flavor and enough heat to keep you honest.
We found this hole in the wall bar while doing something else on this edge of town. We were hungry and they were open!First off, the bartender was incredibly friendly and helpful. What a cool pub! Although it's right under the train and can be very loud when sitting outside, this place was fun and quite the deal. Wednesday special is 50 cent wings and $2 off draft beer. We got the wings wet but would reccomend getting sauce on the side. This is such a cool eclectic neighborhood with bars, homes and restaurant. Definitely a 20's to 30's crowd but we didn't mind people watching. Total bill for 20 wings, 2 draft beers and tip...$20.
