The food is really good here! I got the bulgogi kimbap and hot stone pot bibimbap. Everything was delicious and the people working there were very nice. The only minor con I have is I'm used to having more traditional ingredients in my kimbap like carrots, spinach, meat, eggs, yellow radish but they used lettuce and I think beets. It was still very good though!
Smallest portion of galbi I've ever seen, served with RAW onions :( and the tteotboki aren't good. They taste like Spaghettios.

The fried chicken and soups are better, as are the kimbap.
Kim’s home cooking is low key the best Korean restaurant in Chicago! The side dishes are all fresh! I will say the spicy vegetable pork dish was as good as it was in Korea! And the spicy chicken wings are amazing here! If you get a chance check Kim’s home cooking out! You will not be disappointed! On a side note there is free parking so it makes it even better!
