Food was good, not great. They added the tip which I didn't appreciate because we aren't trying to not tip. It almost felt like we were profiled or forced to give money. Tips are earned with good service and up to the customer.
I had to make a last minute reservation and am so glad with the food and experience tonight. The steak selection was awesome. Service was as good as the food, which was excellent. I will certainly next time I am back in Chicago.
A truly amazing experience at Kinzie Chophouse, a fantastic women-owned steakhouse.
We started with a selection of appetizers to share: the grilled octopus, pork belly, and Merlot wine-baked brie. The grilled octopus was a standout—I absolutely loved it!
The owner stopped by our table and gave us an introduction of each meat kind that was offered on their menu. However, I didn't order the steak this time since I had a lot of meat lately....
