Got basic milk tea and it tasted like instant powder, not the real thing.

When you walk in the atmosphere is horrible. It looks like they moved in today and forgot to unpack everything. I was hoping the boba would make up for that but it didn’t. Go to any other boba place in the area that will taste better for less.

Great drinks, service was decent. Empty when we got there and got the most part chill. Lovely environment.

Great quality bubble tea shop. Not the best I've ever had, but all locations are consistently good. The stores always feel a little lackluster inside. They have good options and a wide variety. The drinks come out fast if they're not busy. Order ahead in the app to save time. For this location, you can park free in the parking lot next door.Vegetarian options: All vegetarianParking: Free lot next doorKid-friendliness: Kids live itWheelchair accessibility: Accessible

First, the boba was overcooked. But the more important reason I am leaving a review is because when I took a sip of my boba later I tasted what seemed like a piece of plastic. But when I spit it out it was a piece of steel wool!! Which could do some real harm to your insides. Not sure how the boba drink is made or how this piece got in there, but this needs to be looked into before someone gets really hurt.

Pikmin tea didn’t have the cap but other than that it was very good.

Kung Fu Tea has other locations, like in Chinatown. It is hands down my favorite bubble tea in the city. I love that I can customize the amount of sugar and ice. I love their Taro and Earl Gray with extra boba. Yum!Parking: Street

Wandering around Chicago and looking for a refreshing treat. Knowing the chain we stopped in here. Bit of a turn off how the inside was- Covid leftovers I'm sure but still. The tables and everything were just stacked in the back sloppily. Plastic up and not very clean. The menu is extensive. Like legit extensive. But not too much- it's like just variations of the same stuff you can customize. I got a Thai tea. Love that you change the sugar and ice. I got 30% sugar and it was perfect for me. They did not give me light ice but it's ok. The boba was great- not as much as I like usually but great nonetheless. Overall excellent flavors. Lady working was not super warm but friendly enough. Sadly they do not have any alternative milk but they use milk powder which wasn't so harsh on the stomach. Ringing in at $20 for three drinks felt a bit steep but it's ok.

I think this is a solid and standard boba shop for American standards. I came in here again on 3/29/23 and the lady behind the counter was friendly and got our drinks out in a timely manner. I always opt for 50% less sugar and it came out perfect. I'm disappointed that they still don't allow indoor sit down dining, but fortunately I love very close to here so it's an easy walk back home. This is one of my more frequented boba spots in the city.
