Ever since I visited Nakamura Ramen in NYC, Ive been struggling to find a ramen as good as theirs. Ive been all over the US to many ramen shops in Los Angeles, Chicago, and many other cities, searching for over 5 years to find a ramen ya that does it right. Kyuramen does it right. Strings and Ramen san dont compare.
Amazing place, workers are nice and friendly, location is hidden from the main tourist street and gives you a little break from the traffic. Food is great, I got the Omurice combo with Tonkatsu, it comes with a sauce of your choice as well as drink. A little pricey for me but I reaaaaally wanted to try this Japanese omelet! It tasted amazing, literally melted in my mouth. My only complaint is that rice that is underneath the omelet contains small pork or chicken pieces, I could...
Exactly what I was looking for… flavorful & spicy ramen. If you like spicy ramen, you will love it. I did try the octopus balls, but unfortunately they were disappointing. They didn’t have much flavor & were really just chewy. The brown sugar bubble milk tea was delicious.
