La Boulangerie & Co Logan offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere with a good ambiance and coffee. The pastries are amazing, and the staff is friendly. While the chocolate croissant was disappointing, the Crookie croissant and the brie/onion/arugula/egg croissant received high praise. The food is generally amazing, and the filled and warmed ham and cheese option is a delicious snack. The outside patio looks lovely, providing a pleasant garden to eat in. However, the popular Crookie croissants tend to sell out quickly, and there are mixed reviews about the matcha. The moist yet dry croissant bread pudding could use more syrup, sugar, and cinnamon.
The new location has more seating available than the Humboldt Park location, but it is much more crowded. Customers have noticed that even if they choose to dine-in, their food is packed "to-go," and the sandwiches are not prepared with as much care as at other locations. Despite this, the atmosphere and service are still praised, and the coffee and pastries are delicious. Some customers have noted that the baguette has no salt, which may or may not be intentional.
