Such a hidden gem , ordered ceviche from here one time and now it’s our restaurant favorite when it comes to Mexican in the area ! We come around maybe 3 times a month either for food or just a quick drink with some appetizers. Staff is always very welcoming and couldn’t recommend more of such a lowkey spot 🤩

La Catrina is hands down one of my favorite restaurants in Chicago! The food is always super yummy — I’ve tried so many things on the menu over the past few years, and everything has been amazing.
I’ve been coming here regularly for about three years now, and every visit feels special. I just want to give a huge thank-you to the owners, David and Christina, and to all the staff — they always make us feel so welcome and cared for. You can tell they truly love what they do.

Been here 2 times and each time had a great experience. Customer service is impeccable. I recommend the French toast for breakfast, seriously one of the best French toasts I’ve had! Fur lunch/dinner the quesabirria and enchiladas were delicious. Lots of drink (21+) options as well!
