We had a reservation & we're seated immediately in a very busy place👍 Everything on menu was not available & we didn't know until we were placing our orders for items they didn't have. Steak not prepared as ordered. Pasta bland, disappointing. Long wait to place order & to be served at our table (2.5 hrs there with kids). Waited an hour for a glass of wine. One appetizer was eventually prepared & packaged for us to take home since it wasn't ready until we were done eating our main course. Our server was sweet but very overworked, stretched thin(?). As we were paying , we eventually noticed that tip was factored into our total. We had already added tip to it. We were able to fix it, but especially annoyed after our experience through the night. We definitely take responsibility for tip, just not a great experience from start to finish in a Chicago restaurant.
Food didn't taste great. Atmosphere looked nice, but the waitress spoke so quiet like it was a whisper and we couldn't hear her. The only plus is that the food always came out fast.
Another great visit to Labriola. Food was excellent and service was great. They even made a drink from the Christmas specials that wasn't on the menu anymore. Really nice people.
Deep dish was great, the sauce was great and crust was perfect. Fried zucchini chips were a great appetizer, meatballs were a little dry but taste was decent. Lemon chicken was good, not a fan of the potatoes it came with. Good service, very nice ambiance.
Took our 8 and 10yr olds to the city for the night—Made a reservation through Open Table mid-afternoon, to hopefully get-in in a timely manner. We were seated right at our Reservation time. Restaurant was full, but not overly noisey. We all loved the food, as well as the service. Ambience was cozy. Yasmine was our server and was OUTSTANDING. Ask for her if you go!
It was our second visit. We enjoyed Happy Hour which was till 6 PM. Great service and food.
Atmosphere was amazing Food was ridiculously good Ozzy our server was on point all night!!
The deep dish pizza wasn't fully cooked, almost like it was rushed and the half/half was more like 3/4-1/4 . We've been here dozens of times, this was not their best effort. Service was pretty solid besides a few hiccups. Maybe it was the later reservation, closing time, or the holiday rush but something was off.
This is a nice restaurant with great service and excellent food. The portions are well sized and taste fantastic. Also, he service was very good and provided for a great evening. I would say that this is a restaurant that I would definitely put on my preferred places when I visit Chicago.
We had reservations and was seated right away. Overall service was great! Servers were friendly and the food came out so quickly. We enjoyed their toasted raviolis, goat cheese dip, deep dish pizza, chicken Parmesan and their fettuccine alfredo. It's a fun place to bring family/small groups. Would come back here again.

Very busy lunch/dinner spot just off the MagMile. Be sure to make a reservation, it's a very popular spot for a shopping break. Service overall was very good. Deep dish is good, not the best I've had in Chicago, but certainly not the worst either. Excellent Caesar salad, however. Very close quarters and tight spaces between tables, but booths are more spacious. Small bar area as well. Wouldn't be our first choice for deep dish pizza in Chicago but I wouldn't object to returning either.
Lemon Kale salad - amazing! Skinny deep dish pizza, so perfect!

Generally good food and service. I am not a fan of a 20% mandatory gratuity. Even less a fan of credit card service fee.
Was visiting Chicago and was fortunate to discover Labriola. On our visit it was a busy Sunday night, but we were lucky enough to get an outside table with no wait.
We started with the Toasted Ravoili appetizers which was an exciting combination of braised beef, cherry tomatoes and calabrina chili and I must say it was a delightful surprise.
For our entrees we enjoyed Chicken Parmesan which was served with two generous portions of chicken breasts, spaghetti with freshly made marinara and topped with mozzarella. Having had this dish at several old school Italian restaurants I can say this was the best Chicken Parmesan I have had at any establishment.
We also dined on the Spaghetti and Mama's Meatballs entree. This is a simple dish that I have enjoyed across the country. Their traditional take on this dish was authenticity wonderful with pasta, marinara and perfectly seasoned meatballs.
