Staff was really nice, but the food is absolutely horrible and insanely over priced. I paid $50 for a burrito, a chicken fajita plate, and horchata. The chicken was dry and tasted like it was from a can. The horchata had ZERO flavor, like… it tasted like water mixed with powder cinnamon. Normally I wouldn’t write a review, but I paid 50 DOLLARS for this. Please save your money and go to one of the several other Mexican places on the same street.

Food was mediocre. Chicken was very dry and bland, tortillas were dry and fell apart, steak was chewey and tough. Nothing really special. Even the salsas were lacking in flavor. Definitely nothing to run back to.

The burrito I had here was a good. Inexpensive for a vegetarian burritos, and it was large. There are some tables inside if you want to eat in but takeout is definitely the name of their game. Came here with a group and everyone liked their food + service was fast for a Saturday night.

This is the first and last time I will visit this location. I have been to the one in desplaines which was very good but this one was awful. We had 2 Carne asada burritos. The steak was boiled not grilled like they do at desplaines. Very unappetizing. There was liquid pouring out of the tortilla. I hope this was just a bad day for them. I will retry at desplaines but not the one on western.

Their food is really tasty and well priced. Prices have risen everywhere and this is comparable to all the taquerias in the area. The picadillo, pastor and chorizo are great. We alternate between tacos, burritos and tostadas and they have all hit the mark. The new quesabirria is super tasty as well.

Quesabirria are wonderful here! We also tried asada tacos and burritos per the name but we didn’t find them equally mind blowing, very well made but nothing crazy. Lengua was also very flavorful and moist. Prices are a little higher than similar taquerias but nothing outrageous. Staff is nice and friendly, the place is a little old and rough around the edges but very clean. I wouldn’t call this place cozy though. It’s good for quick lunch or dinner if you’re in the area, make sure to get quesabirrias.

I ordered two steak tacos with onions cilantro and cheese for $9.25… of course we know the price of tacos have doubled over the last couple of years in some cases tripled… the flavor of the meat was good, but this taco was super soggy. They didn’t crispy shells or heat up the meat on the griddle. This steak taco is the equivalent to having an Italian beef sandwich dipped… falling apart. You have to use a knife and a fork to eat it.

This pains me because I try to only leave positive reviews. I live nearby and have always enjoyed the Super Burrito. It is a very good burrito, maybe the best in the neighborhood. But some egregious happened, when I decided to order a plain quesadilla and it was literally just two small corn tacos with melted cheese in the middle. Come on. Also kind of nickel and dimes for salsa and extras like sour cream. Generally just a little overpriced for the quality not being incredible. I'd save it for drunk food and be pleasantly surpirsed

Best tacos in the area for decades. The carne asada is seasoned perfectly and their lengua and barbacoa is top 5 in the city. The horchata is amazing and tastes like they make it from scratch every day.
