I gave them a zero call several times. Call went straight to voicemail. Of course voicemail is full. I couldn’t leave a message

So I ordered a 4 piece chicken with fries. They gave me a happy meal size fries with 4 small pieces of chicken and told me the price is $14. I said you most be out of your mind if you think I'm going to give you 14 dollars for that. Some of these places are just abusing the consumers with their prices and blaming it on inflation.

Very disappointed. I've been coming here for years and the food was always good. Today was terrible. I ordered 6 chicken legs with fries and got the smallest pieces of chicken that I had ever seen. They look like the drums off of the wings. I also ordered tips and they were dry and chewy.

I have been coming here for years for lunch & order the same thing 4 PIECE TENDERS a couple times a month because how quick & efficient. The ONE time the cashier messed up my order which I noticed immediately & went right back bc I was gonna eat in my car(no dinning area). I politely went inside and asked for my order to be fixed because they mistakenly had given me a 4 piece chicken wing. Then cashier wanted to argue with me like a 5 year old going back and fourth. “No you said CHICKEN WING!” Why am I even going back a fourth with this idiot??? Then states “NO REFUND!” I never even asked for one??? Then continued to state “Since you left with it I can’t exchanged it either you would have to pay for the 4 piece chicken tenders.” At this point I was beyond pist & hungry. I left the food & took my ass to Popeyes! I will never step foot back in there, so CHECK YOUR FOOD in front of them because the cashier is not human & will never make a mistake!

Prices have gone up considerably. ☹️ I believe the economy is the foremost reason. The barbecue, as always, is excellent. I'm a loyal customer from a child; I always have been. I moved away years ago, but every time I come to Chicago, I travel far to get it, too, I must have some Leon's Barbecue! 🙂 Way-To-Go Leon's!! 🤗
Parking: Very limited parking, but you're in and out so quickly that you never notice it. 😇
It's been over 9 years I was looking for the place great BBQ. Go check them out.

It was fine, and I really wanted it to be great.
After doing some diving into forums and across different reviews of Chicago BBQ and seeing many people recommend Leon's.
The people were very nice, and it was definitely a great hole-in-the-wall kind of vibe, something I definitely felt like I was going to find delicious food in, but I was unfortunately rather unimpressed with the rib tips.
Wish I could leave a better review. I just didn't click with it. Maybe I'll have to try it one more time before I write it off.
