Levinson's Bakery Reviews
Oh my God, I just found heaven, and I feel like I’m going to die! You must come here because their cakes are amazing! The bakers used to work at the Swedish bakery and when they closed, they open their own place! You can get anything they made there, including Swedish flops in marzipan cakes. Levinson's Bakery offers rich and creamy milk cakes that satisfy cravings. The bakery provides a clean and neat atmosphere, though staff could improve their attitude towards customers. Despite being a bit pricey, their goodies and birthday cakes are worth every penny, making it a super underrated gem. The bakery is known for its fabulous cakes, cookies, bagels, and marzipan cake, which is the only place to get it since Swedish Bakery closed. Many customers have expressed that the cakes are amazing and nostalgic, especially the vanilla custard fruitcake that used to belong to Swedish Bakery. The bakers have a background linked to Swedish Bakery, and their offerings include Swedish flops in marzipan cakes. Located a little far north on West Devon, the bakery is considered worth the drive and provides more reasonably priced options than its predecessor. Overall, Levinson's Bakery remains a beloved neighborhood spot for special occasions and everyday treats. Customers frequently praise the mixed fruit cake, often making it a family tradition, and the Swedish-style Fruit Cake is highly recommended, especially for their quick and kind service. Their cookies are always good, and the bakery's small size adds to its charm. It's a place where the staff treats customers kindly and helps with questions, making it a friendly and reliable spot for Swedish-inspired baked goods.
