I really really really wanted to like this restaurant. Don’t get me wrong service was nice, I was asked a few times was everything ok, I responded yes. I was asked how was the food, I responded it’s good, especially the Shrimp bombs…. I kinda played myself.
So I attended lunch for the Chicago Restaurant Week Special. In my mind I knew what I wanted… Appetizer: Scrimp Bombs, Entree:Oxtail Chili, Side Dish: Kreyol Greens….

The food is delicious especially the Red Snapper, Chicken & Shrimp Gumbo, and the famous Pound Cake. I had such a wonderful time with friends, great atmosphere, friendly staff, and great location.

I came here on Sunday, January 11th with my church brotha and sista. The food here was simply excellent. I ordered the Haitian wings which were cooked to my taste, rice and beans and cabbage with the muffins. I will past the word about this black owned restaurant. I will return in the future. The staff here was amazing.
