Their Italian ice is the best we've tried by far. It's very flavorful, perfect texture and refreshing.So far I've tried strawberry, lemon, grape and lime. All are excellent. I can't wait to try the other flavors.After trying Little Lulu's Ice, I finally understand why people get so excited about Italian ice. This is far superior to others I've tried.

Mindful Baking is all vegan pastries?Has hard to find vegan pastries like tiramisu, cheesecake and apple pie. Cozy location, big on flavor and cruelty free.

Love this place! Knowing we're so far from gluten free/dairy free bakery items has been challenging, so this has changed our family's world! The selection is so broad and fantastic I find myself going several times a week so I can try everything! I have yet to be disappointed. Fantastic add to the neighborhood.

I. Am. SO excited to now have a vegan and gluten free bakery in the Portage Park- Jeff Park area! I went there with my daughter yesterday and we got the cupcake variety pack and two caramel fudge brownies, all gluten free. Everything was completely phenomenal! I was also thrilled to see that they still carry Little Lulu's Italian Ice. This place serves golden milk, matcha tea, and a variety of coffee drinks, if you'd like to have something to drink with your purchase. They also had one item that did have gluten- cinnamon twists- so keep this spot in mind for your baked goods cravings:)
We went in to try their sandwiches because we had heard some good things and thought we would give this small neighborhood business a chance. We ask about the soup of the day “oh we don’t have soup today, we just have sandwiches and ice” ok no problem. We will take a couple sandwiches “oh we ask that you call in advance if you want a sandwich it takes about 25 minutes to make a sandwich”. Then why offer sandwiches? Who will know to order in advance? Needless to say this is the first and last time I visit. We went across the street to Salud Kitchen and patronized their business instead.

Wonderful little neighborhood business that I just visited for the first time today and I was beyond impressed!!!The nice lady recommended the coconut cold brew and let me tell you…it is SERIOUS!!! Definitely going to come back again for more.Also, can’t wait to try their sandwiches and soups that they offer in the fall.
