After being denied due to a crazy long line for Paper Machete my friends and I decided to warm away our blues with some pho. We knew we could just go up the block to Argyle Ave but that also seemed to be pretty busy for a Saturday afternoon so we did a quick search and came across Little Vietnam just a little further north and drove that way.

It’s a great spot with a wide variety of Vietnamese dishes at reasonable prices. The combination pho I ordered had a nice broth with a decent amount of sliced meat and noodles. The shrimp spring rolls I ordered as an appetizer were also really good and I liked that all of the vegetables in the rolls and as toppings for the pho tasted crispy and fresh.

My friend ordered a pork banh mi along with his soup that looked really good and it was big enough that he was able to take half of it home for later.

The staff were very friendly. They did say that they could only take cash or Zelle payments at the time due to their card reader not working but that was not a problem for us. The inside has a very relaxed feel. Our waiter offered us a free fried banana dessert which was very appreciated. Next time I’d probably order some coffee to go with it.

This is a local gem with great Vietnamese food. I really enjoy the lemonade, eggs rolls, pork spring rolls, wonton soup, and pho. Parking can be tough. Cash only right now.

The pho was ok. But they don't serve enough portions of food.

Would not come back.

Had the bahn mi here and it really just wasn’t great. Cute lil place and nice staff but I’m sorry the food wasn’t flavorful. No additional sauces or even hot sauce offered. The bread was extremely dry and felt like it was a day or two old. Maybe try their other offerings.

Wonderful restaurant! Delicious food every time! I usually get a tofu dish and my partner gets meat and we are both happy. The owner is friendly and welcoming and it feels like home. So glad to have this gem in the neighborhood!

We got scammed by the waitress to tip double at this restaurant. We had 2 pho bowls, a drink, and an appetizer that totaled $47. The waitress brought our bill totaling $58. I thought it was higher than expected but trusted that she did the math correctly, and she seemed nice. My card got charged, and the system asked if I wanted to leave a tip. I put a 20% tip and my total bill came to $70. It was then which I realized something was not right. The waitress built in a 20% tip for herself which I did not authorize ($58 vs $47), and I unknowingly tipped on the $58 which brought the bill to a whopping $70.

I felt taken advantage of as a customer and will not be coming back again. It’s a disappointing experience and I lost my trust in them. I trusted that I would be charged correctly, which was why I did not double check the math, and unfortunately I got tricked into paying 2 tips, 1 of them which I did not authorize. In the future I will absolutely be checking the math myself.

If you choose to eat here please be aware of this tip scam and do the math yourself.

I work close by and I love coming here on my lunch breaks and here and there for food! Such a nice cozy atmosphere. Staff is so friendly and really sweet. The food is unexplainable, I normally get a sandwich for lunch and stuff and it’s one of my favorite places to go it’s really so good! Try it out come visit, brings friends and sit in and enjoy ?

Beef brisket pho is excellent. The broth is wonderful, but the meat is done really well which other places sometimes miss. Fast service and very very very nice people.
