The food is excellent especially the vegetarian pho. It has an excellent broth enhanced by lots of gently fried tofu, vegetables and noodles. Then to top it off there is a side plate with very fresh Thai basil, bean sprouts, and spicy hot peppers. All combined makes for a scrumptious broth! With or without the peppers The restaurant is cheerful, friendly with excellent service. Do yourself a favor, and try this little gem!

Pro's - Fast Service - Waitress was nice Con's - Wontons were empty and alot of wrap but not crab cheese (photo included) - Combo Fried Rice only had 3 shrimp and not to flavorful - Menu was a complete mess. There were so many pen marks and changed prices. It was so hard to sypher what was what. - For what I had. I felt it was pricey for the quality of food I received. I really wanted to like this place but unfortunately, it just didn't happen.

A little hole in the wall that's difficult to get to because of the construction (at the time of writing) but the food is delicious and absolutely worth the trip. Really big portions at a very affordable price point

Pho was okay. The special lacks tripe like most other restaurants. Pho ga was better. The sign said cash only but they have a credit card machine. When a white couple shows up, they had no issues using the credit card. But the owner kept on insisting I use cash. I said I wait until they got the machine working. She wasn't happy that I used credit card but it's okay if white people uses it.The credit card machine also lists tips incorrectly. Machine has tips after tax not before.

This little gem of a restaurant has hands down the best Vietnamese food on the north side of Chicago. I crave the beef pho and shrimp spring rolls at least once a week. Don’t go to Argyle Street. Come here! The pho on Argyle Street is salty and dark. The pho broth here has been cooked for hours. and is perfect. And BYOB too! You won’t be disappointed. Family owned….run by a lovely lady and the cooks are her aunt and uncle.

This place is amazing! First of all, the owner I believe was the sweetest person ever! She was so happy for me to be in there and I went during Lunar New Year and she had a money tree up with Red Envelopes (Li Xi) with money inside that she allowed customers to pull from to see how much luck we had! And the food, omg, so DELICIOUS!! I haven’t had homemade viet food in so long bc I’m here for college, but this place made me feel back at home! This place is top notch and such a comforting place to be!

this place was very, very good! I got the beef brisket pho and it’s definitely one of the best I’ve ever had. the prices are pretty good (my bowl was $12.95 and my friend’s combination pho was $14.95) the shrimp spring rolls were also good. I’d definitely come back if in the area. the only complaint is that they don’t give many toppings. for both of our pho we got one plate of toppings with 2 limes and 4 jalapeños and I need more than that for myself, alone! but, I know that is personal preference so no shade to them.

The waitress here is so kind and goes above and beyond in service as well as the chef. The food is so delicious and the portions are huge. I could not recommend this place enough if you're ever here in the edgewater neighborhood!
