After being shown to our table it took about ten minutes for the server to come to our table. We had to ask for a flight menu for their wines and had to ask for a dessert menu as well. There was no acknowledgment of my wife's birthday even though they informed when the reservation was made. Overall it was just ok. If you are planning to celebrate a special event look elsewhere.

We enjoyed some small plates and some wine. Service was great, food really good. I would definitely return. The space is really cool as well.

We arrived early for our dinner reservation so we sat at the bar for a drink/snack. We sat at the bar for 15 minutes before anyone came to talk to us. There were 4 other parties at the bar, 1 left shortly after we sat. We saw bartenders and other staff but no one seemed to be able to take out order. Once the order was taken the drinks and food arrived quickly. The staff just seemed relaxed and not very attentive. Our dinner reservation time arrived we went back to the hostess, who was lovely, and she sat us. Once we sat we asked our waitress a few questions about the wine flight options and about the Chefs Call options, for dinner. We ordered our wine flights and then we each enjoyed the Chefs Call ‘Indulge', you have to be a party of 4 or more to enjoy this option on the menu. The food was plentiful but lacked freshness, the appetizers were the best part of the meal, with the shareable entrees being cold or overcook. The taste was pretty good but was diminished by the temperatures. The wines were great, and we would have loved to order more but we only saw our waitress two more times after we ordered. Our wine glasses were never removed, we had to request removal, after many staff walked by. We had to ask for water twice before it was poured for us and the bottle was taken away. We couldn't ask for more wine or water because we didn't see our waitress again until dessert, at which point we were ready to leave. The food was pretty disappointing considering the caliber of chef tied to the restaurant but the prices were great. We left full, so the Chefs Call ‘Indulge' was enough for 4 people. The service was the worst part of the entire experience. I'm not aware of how busy it was on the back end but the small space seemed to be pretty slow overall with plenty of open tables. The wine was amazing and definitely worth a visit for the wine alone. I'd be back for the wine at the bar if I had plenty of time set aside, but I wouldn't return to the restaurant portion.

8:30 reservation. Host and Manager at front desk were great. Host was also super accommodating for seating choice. That's the end of the experience. Restaurant was less than half full and was never greeted. Handed manager the menus and left about 15 minutes after being seated.

We usually love Chicago Winery but it was so empty that they ended up closing the tasting room early.

We went for Easter brunch. The food was delicious and fresh. Service was outstanding, as well as the entire staff. Quiche, beet salad, charcuterie board, ham were very, very good. Kudos to LIVA for a wonderful experience!

Had a friend and 2 younger sons come and visit and Chicago Winery made it so easy. We got some cheese and like 7 small plates and it was super fun and easy. One of the boys was into food and our server Greg told the chef and he actually came to the table. It was so cool. The albarino was really good. Great experience and sitting by that fireplace was awesome ambiance. Will definitely be back.

Had brunch after a wine tour.
The French toast was awesome and the bacon was cooked crispy- just how I like it.
Carlos was my server and super friendly. He answered all my questions and even told me a bit about the building and what they do (also he made a great Irish Coffee).
Natasha at the door was really nice and friendly- very hospitable.
Definitely recommend them for brunch!

I wasn't expecting much, but I was definitely disappointed. For a winery, not much of a wine selection. Also, food was what I expected, but still felt cheap and thrown together. Finally, I wouldn't blame our server, Jordan was super pleasant and attentive, but simple stuff like not having multiple beers listed on tap, too much time to get our food and drinks, and fruit flies in water is not acceptable. The place was not what we expected. We have gone to Chicago winery on the river multiple times. I would not come back to this location, even for a drink.

We had the Valentine's day 5 course package, portions were smaller than an appetizer, hostess was very rude when greeted even though I had reached out via OpenTable to let them know we were running late, hostess was condescending. Again, portions were extremely small for 200 bucks, dessert was a literal roll up and mousse with a baby spoon. We were still hungry after dinner and will not be back again. Prices are insane and the dishes were smaller than a kids meal anywhere. Will not come back ever again.

The name Liva has Scandinavian and Finnish origins, with its meaning derived from the Finnish word for life or lively. This connotation imbues the name with a sense of vitality and energy, making it a popular choice for parents seeking names that symbolize a vibrant and spirited existence.

We went for Valentine’s Day
The food and service were very good
The scallops were great as were the potato croquettes
And the deserts were fabulous too
A chocolate mousse and a fun “Lady and the Tramp-like” roll up
There seem to be two or three sections of the restaurant, and one, to the right of the front entrance, was much more lively.
I would ask to sit on the right side
We were seated on the left side, presumably because of a wedding party, so we didn’t see the most beautiful port of the restaurant

Me and my friends attended a Galentines wine tasting here and it was phenomenal. We had thee most gracious host Andras who was more than accommodating. My group couldn’t be more thankful to have experienced his service.

We had the best night trying a wine flight! We joined the wine club and our server Charlie was the absolute best! 🩷
