Beautiful place . Welcoming and friendly host . Happy hour food was good . Service and attentiveness was a little slow and the tables near the fireplace are too close together. There is music but no too loud . I would come back again .
I celebrated my birthday here yesterday with a group of 10, and it was an unforgettable experience. The food was absolutely delicious, and the wine was full of rich, vibrant flavors. The staff truly went above and beyond to make my birthday feel special, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made the celebration even more memorable. Highly recommend!
Vegetarian options: They were accommodating to vegetarian options.

We kicked off the meal with the smoked fish dip, which was the perfect start to our feast. My friends opted for wine, but I went with the daiquiri-cocktail of the day. Next, we enjoyed the umami short ribs—delicious, though I wasn't a fan of the pickles on top and did not get to taste the pickles. The half chicken Vesuvio was one of the best chicken dishes I've had at a restaurant. It’s a must have at this restaurant particularly for dinner. I definitely recommend sharing for a party of 3. The service was outstanding, and the atmosphere was just right! I certainly would be back.

Great experience, great food. We had trouble with a gift certificate but the manager went above and beyond to ensure he found it in his system and didn't affect our experience. Loved it. Must go place.
Wow! Delicious food, excellent wine (made on premises!), outstanding service, all in a beautiful, comfortable space. Elevated dining and drinking in Chicago's River North. My husband and I have gone twice and we absolutely love Liva at Chicago Winery. A true Chicago treasure.

We had a wonderful time. Great food, great wine and exceptional service from Carlos. He recommended a great pairing of wine and food that was perfect. Great atmosphere! We’ll definitely be back again with friends!

Had a wonderful experience from the warm welcome from the host team Liv and Zierra, to all of the service staff Sarah, Carlos, Amir, Miguel, Crystal, you cannot ask for a more helpful group of people! Great deals for happy hour, wine, cocktail and food were delicious! The tempura cauliflower was my favorite. Can't wait to come back for dinner!
Carlos, Tyra, and all of the staff went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. Made Roger’s 4th birthday all the more special!

Came here tonight on a first date. Arrived at 8:25 and entered to an empty front of house. Waited around and a host appeared and I was seated. We waited almost 30 minutes. Not a single person stopped by our table, checked in on us or even cared we came to support a chicago business. My date and I had to share the glass of water the host poured me when we were seated. We tried to get the attention of what appeared to be the server but we were not responded to at all when we tried to find sometime to serve us. A complete waste of time and we won’t be back. What’s funny is the bartender was yelling about getting the girls he was talking to leave good google reviews because of some bad ones you all received and it makes COMPLETE sense. RIP Cooper’s Hawk Gold Coast!!!!!

We were a group of five, and opted for the chef's choice. Not wanting to overdo, we went “indulge” rather than “feast.” Other than the offensive line of a pro football team, I'm not sure who should go beyond that. The delicious food just kept coming. Not an off note in the lot. The wine was well crafted, serviceable, and accessibly priced. And the service was warm and welcoming all the way through.
Emir our waiter was wonderful!! He recommended a bottle of wine and went out of his way to make sure we were happy the food was amazing w good sized portions it was pleasantly quiet in the restaurant
Cool brunch menu..giardiniera hollandaise on pork belly Benedict was so good. Different wines then you normally run into which was cool to see. Seemed like local spot not a tourist trap. Servers were knowledgeable. Will go back when its colder because the fireplace in the bar looks awesome.
We were here for a late dinner, to celebrate my wife's birthday. Overall, excellent food and cocktails. We ended up sharing an app and a salad, as well as 2 entrees, a NY Strip and their ravioli, the former being our favorite. It's all designed to be sharable, so worked out quite well for us. Staff was courteous and very attentive. The last time I had eaten here was years ago when it was Zed51, so it was nice to be back here again. FYI, there's a nice self-park lot right across the street (with reasonable rates, especially if you pre-book online with Spothero). That was very convenient, as we left our car there after dinner and explored the city for awhile. Anyway, we had a pleasant time, and plan to be back in the near future.
