I’m not exaggerating when I say this might be one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve had in Chicago. My first time coming here and I was blown away by their sausage egg and cheese. They had ran out of their regular bread so they substituted with a croissant. I was a bit hesitant at first as croissants can be greasy and soggy but Loaf’s croissant was amazing! Such a nice touch to the overall sandwich— I was pleasantly surprised.

In my life long quest to find Chicago's best breakfast sandwich, my journey brought me to Loaf Lounge in Avondale. I'm not going to waste any time telling you that this sandwich was amazing. Easily in my top 5 across Chicago. The space is also cute and trendy while somehow still maintaining a classic vibe. 10/10 can recommend.

We got the 2 bacon egg sandwich, the special breakfast sandwich, hash-browns, and cold brew. The waiting time was about 30 mins, the place was crowded, but it was worth it. The food was delicious, very tasty, and fresh.
