It started off and we were seated near the bar by a large overcrowded table that was super loud. The omelette comes with a tiny cup of fruit and no toast. The biscuits were too hard and there wasn’t enough meat in the gravy or gravy period. The egg white omelet was full of vegetables but needed quite a bit of salt. Not the best choice for breakfast in my opinion.

High-quality food, just a tad overpriced. Service a touch slow, otherwise a standard somewhat upscale hotel restaurant. Excellent lattes and parfait, and breakfast sandwich is a savory and delicious must-try. Solid side apple chicken sausage, and Brownie Pancakes are another must-try, brownie on every pancake layer! Went back later for Palmer House Original Brownie - another must-try!

Food is good but the wait time for a server to come to your table is terrible. Took 30 minutes to get my order in and didn't see the server again until one of the bussers asked if I wanted a to go container and then 10 minutes later if the server had come with the bill.

If you have time, go somewhere with some customer service.

Definitely a more pricey dinner. The salad and burger were good (your average meal), but not worth the price in my opinion. However, the hotel is gorgeous and the service is great!

Had a cocktail with Pisco, a Peruvian Whiskey! I hadn't had Pisco since 1983 when we visted Lima, Peru and Macchu Picchu.
The manager showed us the bottle, and told the background of the Peruvian women-owned distillery.

This restaurant is in the Palmer House. My wife and I split a Lockwood Burger and fries. Without a doubt one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. She also had their signature brownie for dessert. I can't recall the name of it. For $12 it could have been a little bigger but it was good. One word of warning. This place is not cheap. The Burger and fries was $21

Stopped by for happy hour and had the best time. The wine was $12 a glass and was delicious. We also got the charcuterie board which had an amazing assortment of high quality meat and cheese that we loved. Our server Felipe was very hospitable and lovely! We will definitely be back for the food service and great atmosphere!

Atmosphere and service was great. Really grand space with plenty of architectural interest to view. Service was quick and friendly. The drink tho was tacky and syrupy, as was my friends. I would go back but would recommend not ordering the batched drinks.

I had an out of the world experience here. There are only 4 basic breakfast options none of them live up to the standards of this hotel. After I was unhappy with the food and service I got jelled as as I did not tip. At this price value it wasn’t possible to tip.

Stayed at this The Palmer, so I ate here for several different meals. All of the meals were very good, prices are a bit high, but overall worth it and expected for a restaurant in a hotel. Staff were all great - also very gluten aware. Comfortable atmosphere. The building is beautiful.

This is by far one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had in the city do NOT waist your money and time here when there are plenty of better dining experiences to be had. We got there later at night around an hour before they close. We were clearly seen by several waiters and it took over twenty min for any of them to a come over and take our order. I finally got tired of waiting and my bf and I walked up too the bar to ask if someone could take our order to wish he said “I don’t take order at the bar, someone will come to you”…..ok? Well we’ve been waiting here and it’s not that busy so where r the waiters at?

When a waiter finally did spot us, he would not stop bothering us the entire meal trying to take away food I was STILL CLEARLY EATING! He asked us if we wanted another drink then receded to rush us into finishing the drink after getting us it. We were eventually the only people with plates left (some were still at the bar). It would have taken one person 5min max to wash off the plates and silverware from our meal there was zero reason to rush us. Eventually my bf got fed up and asked the waiter to please leave us alone!

We spent about $200 so it was really infuriating to be rushed through a meal and offered drinks only for them to keep rushing us more. I messed up signing the bill so decided to just not sign it since I wasn’t going to leave a tip and for those who don’t know YOU ARE NOT LEGALLY OBLIGATED TO SIGN THE RECIPT IF YOU AREN’T LEAVING A TIP! The waiter demanded we sign it several times and when we refused the manager came out also demanding we sign it for his “book keeping” even though we explained to him we weren’t leaving a tip so the waiter has zero need to record this down anywhere since zero dollars were given to him. The only reason he brought the manager out and why the manager got argumentative was because they were trying to push us to leave a dip after the worst service we’ve ever had for a $150 + meal.

Food wasn’t great but the drinks and brownies were good…just not good enough to make up for being treated like we were incompetent .
