Good service and cocktails, great views of the River and surrounding buildings. Kinda limited space and crowded. Hope you like bees!

My 2 adult daughters and I went to LH Rooftop for brunch on a Saturday morning. The food was mediocre, but the views elevated it to four stars.

Our server was friendly, but seemed like she was serving too many tables as it took 10 minutes to get salt, etc. One of our appetizers arrived after we were done eating our entrees.

I ordered the Elena Ruz, which was decent, and a side of tater tots which were very tasty! We ordered the burger, which was probably the best thing on the table. We also ordered the avocado toast, which was very bland, and by the time the salt arrived, the eggs were completely cold. For apps: the churros were undercooked, but the truffle fries were good.

The views made up for it overall.

If you are looking for a great rooftop experience without a reservation, check out the LH rooftop! They have a reservation area but they also have an open area too. The architecture river cruise tour guide recommended this place. It is worth a visit! The drinks and bar service were great! Good service and a great conversational spot.

Definitely great views on the roof. The Pudding was so darn good. The other food was a bit salty. Also it was weird that it was open to the public for the views. It was very annoying to have all these nonpaying guests block the view and they were noisy, kinda chaotic actually. Not the cheapest food but i would go there to try it at least once. Make reservations ahead of time- weeks in advance?. 7pm is a good time to transition between dusk to nightime panoramic view. The elevator was confusing.

⭐☆☆☆☆ If I Could Give Zero Stars, I Would.

Welcome to London House Chicago, where customer service apparently went on vacation and never came back. The front desk lady looked at me like I interrupted her lifelong dream of doing absolutely nothing. No smile, no hello — just pure “why are you even here” energy.

The staff? Oh, they’ve mastered the art of ignoring people. You could probably set up a tent, grow old, and still no one would come take your order. I think the tables get more attention than the customers.

The vibe? Imagine paying for luxury and getting treated like background noise. If you want to experience what it feels like to be invisible while being judged by people doing nothing — this is your spot.

Save your time, money, and sanity. Chicago has hundreds of better places — literally pick any other one and you’ll have a better night.

Gave it a 4 star and it would get a five, but it's crowded, which probably warrants a 5 by itself. Changed to a 5 before I finished. This is a great rooftop.

We went for drinks at LH22, the rooftop bar, at the recommendation of a tour guide. Great views of the river and Chicago skyline. The staff we interacted with did not seem overly friendly, but they were efficient. If you want to sit, I recommend making reservations a few days before, we tried and they were booked 2 days in advance. We ended up just getting drinks but the bar area is standing room only. Worth the trip, the drinks were mixed well, and the view was great, but the bar area was crowded and uncomfortable with no place to put your drink down.

The real deal.

It used to be one of the best spots to have a quick bite and enjoy the views of the river. Now management has blocked off all the sections and are by reservation only and requires you to buy food . Very dissapinoting.

The breaded wagyu steak was not good. It was definitely a waste of money! The burger was good and the chicken skewer. The view is spectacular!

I visited LH Rooftop and was blown away by the incredible skyline views, which really made the evening feel special. The cocktails were fantastic, but the food, while good, didn’t quite live up to the hype for me. The vibe was chic and vibrant, though it leaned a bit too crowded and noisy at times

Mind Set On Travel

Went to the rooftop bar for some drinks and to look at the wonderful view. Was a bit busy even for a Tuesday but was worth it. Such a great view.

This place is super overpriced and overrated only Danny and one of the guards there were great in terms of letting us take pictures for a while and being sweet.

Well I was a definitely underdressed for a Friday night here (think like typical Adam Sandler vibes) but we were hungry and had just gotten in the area and most places were closing. No one made us feel weird for it which I appreciate ha.
I wish there wasn't a wait for the rooftop area because it was gorgeous out there. But we were super hungry and didnt want to wait 30 minutes for it so we ate at the lower level bar area and the food was really great. Service was good. Drinks are a bit expensive IMO but again, my drink was delicious so it was fine.
