I'm surprised this has such high praise. The items we tried (5 different choices) were all pretty mediocre and overpriced, even for Chicago. The worst of the visit was the people though. Felt very unwelcome and as if we were a burden. Don't dare ask any questions.
Lost Larson has delicious pastries and really good coffee — they use Metric beans, so the quality is always great. It’s one of the coffee and bakery spots I often stop by since it’s close to where I live.
Nice small place. Small tables, little crowded inside, coffee is so-so, and I prefer taking pastries to go from the bakery. Pastries, I highly recommend! Always fresh and tasty, but make sure everything is sold out quickly.
