Different deep dish pizza experience. In appetizers, definitely recommend the Brushetta.

Two options: the classic and a vegetarian. Was a great pizza but I probably won’t be doing it again as I was not completely blown away by the deep dish pies in general. Like I like thin crust way better. Ambiance of restaurant was great and my waitress was a very charismatic young girl with beautiful pink hair and attentive to me. Bonus points for bringing me ginger ail even though they officially don’t serve it off their menu, thank you!!!!

I had their deep dish pizza this last summer while passing through the city with my dog, and it was fantastic!Epitome of Chicago-style deep dish pizza. The wait was not as long either, I had the pleasure of parking on the street and waiting maybe twenty or so for it to be done. It takes some time to cook deep dish, so I expected this. Usually it can be thirty minutes or more for deep dish to be cooked. The sauce was not too sweet, and balanced out with the soft but sturdy crust, and delectable cheese.Definitely a pizza I will get again when I return to the city.Parking: There is a parking lot for the building Lou Malnati’s is in, but there is also free street parking that has decent turnover.

This will for sure be a memorable memory. The food was rubbery and dry and the food came out old, incorrect, undercooked or overcooked multiple times. Will not come back
I'm a first time visitor to Chicago, and this place was the most recommended for deep dish pizza. Had to try it, and I'm glad I did! Thoroughly impressed. Armando was awesome. Great beer recommendations; love local craft beer so thanks for that!

In full disclosure I am not a huge deep dish pizza fan, but when in Chicago I'm totally open to trying "the best of the best" so after some researching we decided on Lou Malnati's. It has a very hip vibe and ambiance. I ordered the small"Lou" and my husband and daughter shared the medium "The Malnati" Chicago Classic. The presentation was excellent! They slice it right from the dish right in front of you. The pizza's were loaded with cheese that stretches as you cut it....yum! Where my enjoyment went down was in the crust which on its own had no flavor. With the sauce and cheese it was better but I love a good crust so I was disappointed. My husband and daughter liked it more. I would have given it overall a solid 3.5 but the service was not very good. We got here at 5:30 pm on a Wednesday. There was one huge party and a smaller one and a few tables filled. I saw 2 servers. We waited a good 10 for our waters and sodas. My husband had another 5+ before his beer arrived. During dinner my husband asked for another water and beer and it was probably close to 15 minutes. Then when they went to get us boxes we waited about another 10. As it got closer to 6:30 pm more people came in and still 2 servers so with help the way it is today I understand but from a rating POV at least tonight it's a solid 3.
