Worst 1st experience ever. Waited for lady to open she opened the gate said good morning I asked may I place an order in English and she said yes. I asked my son who was present. Standing right next to me. We ordered one order of soup dumplings I handed my credit card to the lady she rang it up and said thank you 10 minutes come back. We ordered other foods from other stalls near by. An hour went by nothing. I came back and I was with my son. I asked is that my order? As she was preparing to bag food. She said yes. I grabbed the food and walked back to my table with my son. She said come back and I asked why. She said that is not yours. ??? Questioned thinking what just happened. Of course no receipt was provided so had to pull out my bank app and show her my receipts I did have from other stalls and the lousy $9.99 which was our order with this lady. She denied that she never took my order. My son and I were confused and was explaining to her that we were her first customers of the day and were greeted with good morning, ready to order? Lost of words I almost lost it I told the lady keep the $9.99. Just the principle of the matter. She stated let me call my son. I was like for what? He should be here assisting if he speaks English as we were having the darndest time of a conversation. Next addressing this to the triple B’s. From one Asian to another this is very disrespectful.

Had to wait an hour for a soup dumpling dish we were promised to have within 10 minutes. Thinking she was busy on morning orders, we waited patiently for almost an hour only to be told by the lady that she never recalled taking our order. Since no receipt was given, my family & I proceeded to show the charge via banking app, & the lady continued to refuse our order to be served to us. She took our money & continued to conduct poor business. This was an extremely disappointing experience & unfortunately would not recommend anyone to dine here. Bottom line - not a welcoming atmosphere, this food court itself is over hyped.

Bad attitude of boss and employees

Uses canned dough for bao, no sauce or silverware, took over 40 min when not busy
It tastes as bad as it tastes. I ordered grilled fish and waited for more than 40 minutes to take it home. I had to heat it myself. If it was not spicy or spicy, I just threw it away! Avoid the pits and don’t eat them!

After shaan shaan taste closed, I wasn’t sure where to get liang pi (spicy cold noodles) that was just as good. Happened across this stall with both liang pi and sheng jian bao (pan fried mini pork buns), and they were both great!
Can be found in the basement level foodcourt of the Richland Center building (across the parking lot). Very flavorful and spicy! Very affordable pricing!

I ordered the food from Chowbus. I am a super generous reviewer most of the time. This is the worst food ever I've had in town. The chicken feet stinks. Dumplings is also bad in every standard. Do me a favor, avoidMore it.The takeaway ordered this chicken feet and sauerkraut dumplings. The chicken feet had a foul smell, and I wanted to spit out the last meal after taking a bite. Dumplings were also quite unpalatable.

Restaurantji Recommends
surprisingly, one of the best dumpling restaurant I’ve ever witnessed. Perfection with old school learning of all handmade dumplings and other products that have superb quality… the taste is impeccable. I highly recommend this location you must try it! Also, don’t forget the skewer sticks. Amazing taste, and flavor.
Spicy Seafood Dry Pot
Sad Bean Jelly (because supposedly it’s so spicy you’ll cry)
Good food, iffy service
Seafood and tofu in clay pot
